National Institute of Education instigates National Workshop for ICT in Education Master Plan Development today.

The Opening ceremony was inaugurated by Minster of State for Communication Science and Technology Mr. Ahmad Afzal Ibrahim at NIE Seminar room.

This workshop aims to increase the national capacity to develop policy for ICT in education that is integrated with sector-wide education plans such as the forthcoming draft Education Sector Plan (ESP) for 2019 onwards. The workshop is a joint effort between UNESCO and MOE to collectively develop a shared understanding of the ICT in Education Master Plan in the Maldives’ context and to draft the narrative covering the important themes of the 2nd Master Plan.

This four day workshop is held in NIE Seminar room with 35 Participants from different areas of the Education sector in the Maldives.
