National Institute of Education (NIE) has commenced workshops to develop awareness of foundation stage curriculum standards. The 20 hours training programme focuses on curriculum standards, pedagogy, assessment, portfolio and daily plan preparation.

The trainings are currently being conducted in National Institute of Education and in Male’ and Atoll schools and a total of 361 preschool teachers are participating in this programme. The training sessions will continue from 8^th to 14^th March 2019.
